In addition to having a passion for helping others in  Mathematics, Science, and Healthcare, I am also a strong Woman of faith in God & Jesus Christ. I’m a Prophetic Bible Teacher who is humble and always willing to help someone in need. Lastly, I’m a proud mother who loves to spend time with her family, both immediate family and parents and sister as well.

As I worked in both Specialized Healthcare Policy and General Healthcare Policy/Advocacy and Children Legal Services for the State Government of California, I could see the day-to-day impact of mental health in patients and how these issues often manifested themselves in chronic health conditions. Later, as I concluded research for graduate school, and honors research publications, the evidence linking mental health issues to chronic health issues was astounding. Working in hospitals and educating patients, I saw the same trends. I soon realized this not only affected the patients with officially diagnosed mental health conditions, but also employees who were stressed from the many complications life can present.stration, Program Coordination, Grant Writing, Politics, Social Work, Ministry and Law.

While sitting on various Board of Directors including the River Oaks Center for Children, I was able to observe how prolonged exposure to and/or experience of mental health conditions potentially manifested themselves in many different ways as youth became young adults. Rather than simply continue to research and observe, I made a decision to research and get more involved for a solution.
